Qualifications

• Completion of RPN program and valid CNO license required.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Completion of a recognized Canadian RPN program
2. Valid CNO license
3. Must have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle
4. Must be willing to travel within Chatham Kent/Sarnia Lambton
5. You must be available to work all shifts and every other weekend

Duties:

1. Assist with resident treatments
2. Assist with preparation for MD rounds
3. Assist with paperwork preparation (Bloodwork/samples)
4. Assist with liaising between family and MD
5. Assist with liaising between all staff and ADOC/DOC
6. Attend any education/in-service meetings
7. Answer call bells
8. Provide guidance and assistance to PSWs
9. Ensure staff are following health and safety procedures
10. Assist with any emergency, resident or home related
11. Charting on PCC - must be completed prior to shift end
12. Surveillance of residents
13. Assist with other duties assigned by the home
