Job summary

Brant Community Healthcare System in Brantford and Paris is seeking an OR nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative care, reporting to the Manager of Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery.

The role requires a nursing diploma, active registration in Ontario, BCLS, a post-graduate OR course, and at least one year OR experience; you will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with ongoing education and strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college nursing program.
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Post-grad Operating Room course required.
• Minimum of one year current Operating Room experience.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery, the successful applicant will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in the operating room and must meet the following criteria:

Mandatory Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college nursing program
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Completion of post-grad Operating Room course required
• Minimum of one (1) year current Operating Room experience required.
