Job summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a full-time Medical and Surgical Nursing Resource to support medical and surgical patients across units. You will join a growing team, float to where care is needed, and participate in a comprehensive orientation and ongoing training.

The role requires a Diploma in Nursing and active registration with the Ontario College of Nurses, BCLS and Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation certifications, along with a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing and current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current BCLS and Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation certificates are required.
• Two years' experience in medicine and/or surgery units is preferred.
• Knowledge and competence in vascular therapy and post-operative care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Float across medical and surgical units to support patient care.
• Provide patient-centered nursing care with emphasis on safety and comfort.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development.
