Job summary

Amica Dundas in Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a part-time role. The RN will support residents with high-quality care, promote wellness, and collaborate with a caring interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold a Practical Nursing diploma, be currently registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and hold a valid CPR certification. A collaborative, compassionate environment with growth opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved Practical Nursing program with approved scope of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care within a senior living environment.
  • Promote resident wellness and participate in holistic care planning.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of resident status.

What you will bring:
  • Completion of an approved Practical Nursing program with approved scope of practice. Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members.
  • Previous experience working in long-termcare/assisted living environment considered an asset.
