Job summary

Amenida Senior Community in Bellville, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join a compassionate, resident-centered team. The role focuses on delivering nursing care, administering medications, and supporting daily living activities in a part-time onsite capacity.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Practical Nursing program (college diploma or equivalent).
  • Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • CPR Level C (or HCP) certification; First Aid may also be required.
  • Up-to-date immunizations in accordance with Ontario public health requirements.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (long-term care, hospital, or community setting).

Position:Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
Location: 435 Dundans St. W, Bellville, ON K8P 1B6
Compensation: $25 Hourly
Shifts: 22.5 hours/week, days and evenings
Job Type:Part-time | Onsite

Your Day to Day:

Nursing Care & Medical Support:

Deliver nursing care according to established care plans and clinical standards.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor residents’ responses.

Resident Support & Personal Care:

Assist residents with daily living activities to promote comfort, dignity, and independence.

Compliance & Professional Conduct:

What You Bring to the Table:

To be successful in the RPN role, individuals must be committed to delivering compassionate care, upholding nursing standards, and fostering a supportive community environment.

Education & Certification:

Completion of a recognized Practical Nursing program (college diploma or equivalent).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
