Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join Pharmasave #406 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. You will transcribe verbal prescriptions, ensure patient safety, and oversee technicians while maintaining confidential patient records.

• Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.
• Injection certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medications.
• Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications.
• Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling.
