The successful candidate will ensure high-quality patient care, maintain confidential records, and oversee Pharmacy Assistants to support efficient prescription filling within a community setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist Technician with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medications.
• Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications.
• Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling.
