Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Nanaimo, BC is hiring a Regulated Pharmacy Technician for country club location. The role covers receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions, transferring prescriptions, and ensuring accuracy and authenticity of dispensed medicines.

You will supervise dispensary staff and support front-store operations while delivering excellent customer service. Applicants must hold a valid Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence and be in good standing with the College of Pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence and in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions.
• Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Ensuring that a prescription is complete and authentic.
• Performing the final check of a prepared prescription.
• Dispensing prescriptions and supporting dispensary and front store operations.
• Providing excellent customer-first service and supervising staff as directed.
