Job summary

Save-On-Foods country club NanaimoBC is hiring a Regulated Pharmacy Technician to join our Nanaimo team. The role involves receiving verbal prescriptions, transferring them between pharmacies, and performing final checks on dispensed meds.

You will support both the dispensary and front store operations, provide exceptional customer service, and work under the Pharmacy Manager to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence in good standing.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Pharmacy dispensary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
• Transfer prescriptions to and from other pharmacies and perform checks.
• Ensure prescriptions are complete, authentic and accurately dispensed.
• Support dispensary and front store operations and supervise assistants.
• Adhere to procedures, policies and merchandising guidelines.
