Chan Chang Boruah Dentistry in NE Calgary is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (full-time or part-time) to join a friendly, fast-paced practice focused on exceptional patient care. The role involves room preparation, chairside assistance, X-ray imaging, sterilization, chart updates, and patient education.

Collaboration with the dental team is essential to deliver high-quality care. Applicants must be registered or certified with the provincial regulatory body; prior dental assisting

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Experience in dental assisting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

or

Monday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
