Chan Chang Boruah Dentistry in NE Calgary is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time schedules in a patient-focused practice with modern technology and a supportive work environment.

You will prepare rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take X-rays, and uphold IPAC standards while maintaining patient records and education. Regulatory eligibility in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Ability to take dental X-rays and follow IPAC standards.
• Excellent patient communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or Monday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

About You

Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
