Qualifications

• Licensed/registered Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Strong patient-care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments to ensure patient comfort and efficient workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control per IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care.
