Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. in Halifax is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (medical/surgical) to join our team for flexible 8- to 12-hour shift assignments across Halifax Regional Municipality hospitals.

You will work under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse and provide care per NSCN standards and Carecor policies. This casual to full-time role offers flexible shifts, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow professionally while contributing to patient

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, active license in good standing with provincial College.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience, preferably medicine/surgical floors.
• Current BCLS-HCP and N95 mask fit test certificate preferred.

• Provide care in accordance with Nova Scotia College of Nursing and Carecor standards.
• Work in a facility for full 8–12 hour shifts, with casual to full-time flexibility.

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (medical/surgical) nurses who are residing in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals to join our amazing team. We’re ready when you are!
Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to Nova Scotia College of Nursing, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12-hour shift. This is a casual to a full-time position with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Applicants require a Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license that is current, active, and in good standing with their respective provincial College.
• Transfer of an active practicing license will be required with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Required: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, preferably in medicine/surgical floors
• Required: Must Have 2 years of Hospital Experience.
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x‑ray within the past five (5) years
• Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider) and Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
• Flexible to work occasional shifts that are considered urgent/last‑minute/early morning

Please note that, based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
