Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. in Halifax is recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team for shifts in Halifax Regional Municipality area hospitals.

You will work under the direction of the facility charge nurse or RN to provide care aligning with nursing standards and Carecor guidelines. This casual to full-time role offers flexible shifts across multiple facilities, competitive pay, and an employee benefits program to support your health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license current, active, and in good standing with provincial College.
• Transfer of an active practicing license will be required.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, preferably medicine/surgical floors.
• Must have 2 years of hospital experience.
• Immunization proof for MMRV, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
• TB test or chest x-ray within time frames.
• Current BCLS-HCP and N95 mask fit test.
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire.
• Flexible to work occasional urgent/last-minute/early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care under direction of facility nurse in Halifax area facilities.
• Deliver care per NSCN Standards and Carecor Standards.
• Commit to full 8–12 hour shifts per assignment.

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (medical/surgical) nurses who are residing in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area hospitals to join our amazing team. We’re ready when you are!
Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to Nova Scotia College of Nursing, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12-hour shift. This is a casual to a full‑time position with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Applicants require a Registered Nurse (RN) practicing license that is current, active, and in good standing with their respective provincial College.
• Transfer of an active practicing license will be required with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
• Required: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, preferably in medicine/surgical floors
• Required: Must Have 2 years of Hospital Experience.
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, and hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
• Current BCLS-HCP (HealthCare Provider) and Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
• Flexible to work occasional shifts that are considered urgent/last‑minute/early morning
