Job summary

Baptist Housing Evergreen Community in White Rock, BC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary full-time day line. You will lead the care team, develop personalized care plans, assess residents, administer medications, and support transfers to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and electronic health records.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse at Baptist Housing, you will provide compassionate, high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. Your role is crucial in ensuring their health, safety, and well-being in a warm and welcoming environment.

This role is a temporary full time day line. Coverage needed until February 26, 2027

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care based on individualized resident needs.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Administer medications and treatments following best practices and safety protocols.
  • Advocate for residents’ well-being, fostering a person-centered approach to care.

Your work location is in the seaside city of White Rock. Our Evergreen community is located at 1550 Oxford Street.

Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

You are also well-versed in pharmacological therapies, the Wellness Model, legal documentation, and the complex intricacies of the healthcare system at various levels. You are competent, compassionate, and have an unwavering commitment to the well-being of those you serve.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $41.42 to $55.91 for Level 3 Registered Nurses (RNs), along with the opportunity to work in a supportive and caring community.
