Interior Health Authority in Kamloops, BC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the General Surgical (6S) department at Royal Inland Hospital. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating client care in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, respond to changing health care needs, and apply nursing knowledge across settings. Relief part-time position rotates day and night shifts.

This is a Relief Part Time (0.53) opportunity until March 12, 2027, or the return of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30 hours.

The 6S Unit at the Royal Inland Hospital is a very busy vascular, general surgery and Urology unit. Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is in the Thompson Cariboo Shuswap health service area and is one of two Interior Health tertiary referral hospitals. Located in Kamloops, RIH offers high-level, specialty medical care including core physician specialties, 24 emergency and trauma services, ambulatory and outpatient clinics, and diagnostic services. Specialty services include ambulatory psychiatry, elderly mental health, clinical nutrition, and lung health.
