Job description

We Are Hiring
  • Department: Oncology Float Pool; Renal Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Infusion Center
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Night Shift; 3x12s 6:30 P.M. - 7:00 A.M.
  • Hospital: Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown
  • Location: Nashville, TN
What You Will Do
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with healthcare team members.
What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire or transfer date.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school or college OR required professional licensure at the time of hire.
Additional Preferences
  • Two years of RN experience preferred.
  • Chemotherapy certification strongly preferred.
