Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) in Peterborough, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medicine B6 area. This part-time, temporary role supports the IP Medical B6 department with evidence-based nursing care.

The successful candidate will hold a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario, maintain BLS, and show strong assessment and teamwork skills while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Active nursing license and eligibility to work in Ontario are required.
• BLS certification is required or current.
• Experience in medical/surgical units is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medicine patients with variable stability.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and allied health staff to plan and deliver care.
