Job summary

Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is seeking a Manager, Medical Device Reprocessing to lead the MDRD department in Peterborough, ON. This role focuses on vision, planning, and staff development, ensuring efficient, compliant processing of medical devices across the center.

The Manager will drive budgeting, analytics and change management while partnering with administration, clinicians and staff to sustain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related clinical and/or management experience.
• CSA0 or equivalent course in sterile processing techniques.
• Diploma in Healthcare Management or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Leadership/Management training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction and leadership for day-to-day MDRD operations.
• Conduct unit-based planning, budgeting and resource utilization.
• Develop staff and oversee performance management within the department.
• Maintain strong analytics and program evaluation to meet objectives.
