Job summary

Northern Health - BC is seeking a Registered Nurse at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital to provide compassionate patient care within an interprofessional team. The RN will practice under the BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards and in a patient- and family-centered care model.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care in an acute medical unit, across day and night rotating shifts.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family-centered care model.

The Registered Nurse (RN) practices in a variety of clinical settings, and working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to patients in an acute medical unit

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00
