Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater, BC. About the Job

• Provides nursing care to emergency patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practiceMaintains and advances own clinical competence
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned

There are multiple Permanent Full Time (1.0) opportunities available.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

About this location/unit

The Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital is a Level 1 Community Hospital and we offer services including surgical, inpatient and emergency. We have 6 acute care beds with a small 24 hour emergency department that includes 4 bays and 1 trauma bay. As part of our cohesive team of healthcare professionals, you will work hand in hand with local physicians and LPN’s, to deliver patient centred care!

Located at the gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park, Clearwater is a scenic town surrounded by mountains, forests, and waterfalls.
