Job summary

Interior Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Combined Medical/Surgical team at Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater, BC. This permanent full-time role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will perform assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care, work with an interdisciplinary team, and focus on client-centered care while maintaining well-being and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

About the Job

The Registered Nurse:

• Practices in a variety of clinical settings and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
• Works in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities

This is a Permanent Full Time (1.0) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

About this Location

The Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital is a Level 1 Community Hospital and we offer services including surgical, inpatient and emergency. We have 6 acute care beds with a small 24 hour emergency department that includes 4 bays and 1 trauma bay. As part of our cohesive team of healthcare professionals, you will work hand in hand with local physicians and LPN’s, to deliver patient centred care!
