Job summary

Extendicare in Haileybury, Ontario, is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse (RN) to enhance resident care in our long-term care setting. The RN will assess, plan, monitor, and coordinate nursing care according to regulations and internal standards.

You will supervise LPNs and health care aides, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and mentor staff. Strong communication and organization are essential to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with relevant nursing authority.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of wound care, infection control and safety practices.
