Job Summary:

Apply the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care, including education and care planning. Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, establish patient goals, and engage in professional development according to Board of Nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate on care plans and coordinate care delivery across the continuum.
  2. Analyze patient information to determine nursing diagnoses.
  3. Evaluate patient progress and adjust interventions for effective outcomes.
  4. Promote health and safety environments.
  5. Additional duties may be assigned.
Technical Capabilities:
  • Evidence-Based Practice (Novice): Basic proficiency in searching for clinical evidence.
  • Care Planning (Novice): Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize, and organize work.
  • Nursing Patient Education (Novice): Fundamental skills in patient education.
  • Nursing Patient Assessment & Evaluation (Novice): Ability to assess and evaluate patients, conduct interviews, and recognize problems.
