Under the supervision of the Manager of Health Services, the Clinical Practice Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing services for patients, including those with complex health needs. Responsibilities include independent nursing services, administering prescribed treatments, leading within the healthcare team, and coordinating patient care and discharge.
Successful completion and ongoing renewal of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program is required, scheduled by the employer or mutually agreed upon.
Applicants must be able to understand and speak French to communicate effectively with patients and families. The candidate must pass a language proficiency assessment.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check. The candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. Checks are considered current if obtained within six months prior to employment start date.
