Job summary

The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a registered nurse for the B5 - Medicine Non Teaching Unit in Winnipeg, MB. This 0.70 FTE, in-person position requires recent acute medical nursing experience and current CRNM registration.

You will work 7.75 hours per day with 2015 annual base hours, and the anticipated start date is 11/06/2026. Applicants may be asked to participate in skills assessments and will be required to complete background checks as conditions of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
• Current CRNM registration.
• Active participation in professional associations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as part of the B5 Medicine Non Teaching Unit.
• Uphold RHPA scope of practice and maintain professional standards.

Position Overview

Experience

• Recent acute medical nursing experience required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Current CRNM registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.

Qualifications and Skills

• Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
• If there are no applicants meeting the qualifications, the employer may consider an applicant who does not meet the above qualifications.
