Job summary

Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg team on a casual basis. You will deliver patient- and family-centered nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, adhering to CNO guidelines and hospital policies.

This role is 0.25 FTE with shift-based schedules, requiring BCLS, RN in good standing, ACLS or commitment to complete within 3 months, CC1 within 6 months, CC2 preferred. Salary range $41.15-$58.98 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses (CNO) as RN.
• Current BCLS.
• ACLS or commitment to complete within three (3) months of hire.
• CC1 and/or commitment to complete within six (6) months of hire.

• Certificate in Gentle Persuasive Approach preferred.

Qualifications And Experience

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses (CNO) as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS.
• Current ACLS or commitment to complete within three (3) months of hire.
• CC1 and/or commitment to complete within six (6) months of hire.
• CC2 Preferred
• Management of Aggressive Behaviour or equivalent preferred.
• Certificate in Gentle Persuasive Approach preferred.

Hours of Work

In order to provide the necessary patient care, our operations run 24/7. There is the expectation that you are available to work weekdays, weekends and all shifts (days, nights, 12 hours).
