This is a new, temporary full-time position, expected to end December 2028.
Stevenson Memorial Hospital (SMH) is embarking on a significant transformation through the development of a new hospital scheduled for occupancy in 2028. This opportunity will redefine how care is delivered, enhance patient and staff experiences, and create a modern environment that supports exceptional healthcare for our growing communities.
Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Nursing Executive, the Hospital Redevelopment Clinical Lead will serve as the primary clinical liaison between clinical programs and the redevelopment project team, ensuring that operational readiness activities support safe, efficient, patient-centered care in the future-state hospital.
The Hospital Redevelopment Clinical Lead will coordinate clinical engagement, lead operational readiness planning, support workflow redesign, facilitate change management activities, and ensure that design, activation, and transition plans align with the needs of patients, families, credentialed staff, staff, and volunteers. Working closely with leaders, frontline teams, project team, consultants, and construction partners, the incumbent will help prepare the organization for successful readiness and occupancy of the new facility in 2028.
Success in this role requires exceptional project management, change leadership, engagement, and relationship-building skills, combined with a strong understanding of hospital operations and clinical workflows.
Monday to Friday. Weekend work may be required as operational needs dictate. As a leader at SMH, participation in the leadership on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends, is required.
