The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric nursing care, including patient and family assessments, group therapies, discharge planning, and coordination on an acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit and in the MHEAZ (Mental Health Emergency Assessment Zone) of the Emergency Department. The RN may also work in other mental health services and programs based on operational needs.
