Job summary

Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Home Health team at Barriere Health Centre in Barriere, BC. This Relief Part Time role offers day shifts from 08:30 to 16:30 and operates within a dynamic, fast-paced community setting.

The RN will assess and coordinate nursing care, develop care plans, and collaborate with other health care providers to improve client outcomes and navigation of community services. Barriere offers a natural setting with strong community ties.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with BC license is required.
• Home health experience is preferred.
• Reliable, flexible and motivated professional.

Responsibilities

About The Job

The Registered Nurse:

• Supports the client’s achievement of safe, realistic, and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client
• Develops, implements and adapts a care plan, delivers direct care, assesses service eligibility and provides care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting
• Enhances quality of life for the client and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence
• Participates on designated committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned

This is a Relief Part Time (0.58) opportunity until April 2, 2027, or the return of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days from 08:30 to 16:30 hours.
