Job summary

Interior Health Authority in Princeton, BC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team. This relief part-time (0.80) role supports the client’s goals, coordinates nursing care, and helps clients navigate community services in a dynamic setting.

Shifts are Monday to Thursday, 08:00–16:00. The position offers IH benefits and opportunities for training, with a strong emphasis on well-being and work-life balance in a culturally diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Supports client goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
  • Develops and adapts care plans, delivers direct care, and assists clients with navigating services.
  • Enhances quality of life, collaborates with other health care providers.
  • Maintains clinical competence and engages in continuous learning.
  • Participates on committees and approved research projects as assigned.

The Registered Nurse:
  • Supports the client’s achievement of safe, realistic, and reasonable goals by assessing, planning, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating and transitioning nursing and other care services for the client
  • Develops, implements and adapts a care plan, delivers direct care, assesses service eligibility and provides care management to help clients manage their own care and navigate through the various services available within the community setting
  • Enhances quality of life for the client and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
  • Maintains and advances own clinical competence
  • Participates on designated committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned

This is a Relief Part Time (0.80) opportunity until February 14, 2028, or the return of the incumbent.

Shifts of work will be Monday – Thursday 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
