Job summary

Halton Healthcare's Georgetown Hospital Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse in Ontario to join our 24‑hour, multidisciplinary team. You will provide direct patient care in the ED and collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff.

The role requires ED experience, triage and in‑charge responsibilities, and current CNO registration with an active BLS card. Shifts are 12 hours with rotating days and nights; compensation reflects hourly rates between CAD 41.15 and CAD 58.98.

Qualifications

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• BLS Provider Card required on hire.
• Previous Emergency Department experience required.
• Experience in triage and in-charge responsibilities.

The Georgetown Hospital Emergency Department serves the communities of Halton, Halton Hills, and the surrounding areas. Our ED is a 15‑bed unit with a separate Rapid Assessment Fast Track (RAFT) zone. We serve patients of all ages and treat patients of every medical and mental health illness. Last year we served over 39,000 patient visits.

Our 24‑hour staff are comprised of nurses, physicians, physician assistants and many other team members of a robust multidisciplinary team. Our team includes a dedicated mental health and internal medicine resources to ensure comprehensive assessments of patients for timely referrals and/or admission.

• Current Registration in good standing with theCollege of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Heart & Stroke Approved BLS Provider Card upon hire.

Hours: Monday to Sunday; Various rotating; Days & Nights; 12 hour shifts;0730-1930 & 1930-0730 (Hours subject to change based on operational requirements)

Salary:$41.15 to $58.98 per hour
