Job summary

St. Joseph's Health System in Hamilton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Dialysis Centre King Campus on a temporary, part-time basis for 17 months.

Responsibilities include patient-centred care, collaboration with the inter-professional team, and leadership in delivering renal care. The ideal candidate will hold current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, have Hemodialysis experience as an asset, and demonstrate strong communication and reliability.

The RN provides patient/client-centred and evidence-informed care to promote health and assess the need for the provision of care and the treatment of health conditions by supportive preventative therapeutic palliative and rehabilitation means in order to attain or maintain optimal patient/client function.
