Job summary

Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to join our pharmacist-led, patient-focused team in the Metro Vancouver area. You will provide in-home or community-based nursing support, delivering compassionate care and ensuring safe medication practices.

The role requires BScN, active RN registration with BCCNM, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to start early and work weekends. You will collaborate with clinicians and caregivers to uphold Mint's standards of service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited BScN program.
• Current, active RN registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Criminal record check completed or to be completed by employer.
• Flexible schedule including 7 am starts and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of medication to patients in their homes.
• Clinical support including insulin dosing and monitoring.
• Assistance with self-administered medications and reminders.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient rooms.
• Report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly.
• Document visit details using company mobile apps.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting Mint's commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a positive experience for patients, customers, and team members.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivery of medication :Taking daily medication to the homes of our patients
• Clinical Support:Prompt and observe of insulin dosing
• Medication Assistance:Assisting with self-administered medication or providing reminders.
• Environmental Maintenance:Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy patient rooms.
• Reporting:Reporting changes in patient condition, and behavior
• Documentation :Documenting visit details using apps on the company phone

What You'll Bring

We are looking for someone who brings the right mix of experience, professionalism, initiative, and care.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Education:Graduate of an accredited, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program
• Certification:Current, active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing. Must be able to submit a letter of good standing
• Flexible schedule :must be available for 7 am start, and available on weekends
• Soft Skills:Strong communication, patience, empathy, and the ability to work in a team.
• Drivers License :Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license
• Criminal Record Check :Completed by us prior to hire
