Job summary

Mint Health + Drugs is actively seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join their team in Victoria, BC. In partnership with I.D.A. Pharmacy, this role emphasizes clinical pharmacy, patient-centered care, and collaboration with local physicians to ensure safe medication use.

The ideal candidate holds a BScPharm or PharmD with BC licensure, injection certification, and experience with Kroll and EHRs. A proactive, team-focused professional is preferred for a pharmacist-led environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Active Pharmacist license or immediate eligibility with CPBC.
• Injection certification in British Columbia.
• Proficiency with Kroll pharmacy software and EHRs.
• Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search required.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments, manage chronic and acute medication therapy, and provide counseling.
• Administer injections and vaccines, renew prescriptions, and optimize therapies.
• Oversee dispensing with safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinics, and healthcare teams to coordinate transitions of care.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Pharmacist on our team, you will deliver the "Mint Experience"—thoughtful, compassionate service and clinical care that puts patients first. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Patient Care & Clinical Services: Conduct clinical assessments, manage chronic and acute medication therapy, and provide comprehensive patient counseling.
• Clinical Interventions: Administer injections and vaccines, adapt and renew prescriptions, and manage drug therapies to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Dispensing & Quality Assurance: Oversee the accurate preparation, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of medications, ensuring strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with local physicians, clinics, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate seamless transitions of care.
• Healthcare Education: Serve as a trusted drug information resource for patients, caregivers, and fellow healthcare professionals.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and compassionate professional who meets the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Licensure: Active Pharmacist license (or immediate eligibility for licensure) with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia (CPBC).
• Injection Certification: Valid certification to administer injections in British Columbia.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software (experience with Kroll is highly preferred) and electronic health records.
• Background Check: Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search prior to employment.
• Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative team player mindset.
