Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families and communities in Barrhead. You will use nursing processes, teach, counsel and advocate, supporting an integrated, holistic approach to patient care.

Provisional Permit holders will be paid $40.76 to $55.79 per hour; upon obtaining a full practice permit, pay will be adjusted to the applicable RN rate in accordance with UNA.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with CRNA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• If you have not practiced as an RN within the past five years, complete required modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across acute, ER and infusion clinic settings.
• Support rural nursing initiatives and act as charge nurse when needed.
• Teach, counsel and advocate for patients and families; ensure patient safety.
