Job summary

Calvary Healthcare in Bruce ACT is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a casual contract from September to December, with a subsequent full‑time fixed‑term roster for 6–8 months.

You will provide clinical leadership, ensure compliance with legislation, and support a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care for residents across home, virtual and residential aged care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with APHRA registration.
• Experience in residential aged care.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation.
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of restrictive practices.
• Experience in clinical leadership roles.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

What you bring

• Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• Recent experience working in residential aged care.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
• Ability to support and lead a multi- disciplinary team
• Knowledge on the restrictive practices and behavioural management
• Experience in a clinical leadership role with ability to manage day to day clinical issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
