Job summary

Lutheran Homes Group is seeking aRegistered Nurse with AHPRA registration for a rewarding casual role in Hamilton. You will contribute to high-quality care for older residents, work with a collaborative team, and adapt to a variety of shifts and resident needs.

With a focus on person-centred care, you’ll be supported by a leadership team that values wellbeing, professional development, and ongoing skill enhancement.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 12 months of clinical experience.
  • Ability to perform person-centred nursing care in a team setting.
  • Familiarity with SARAH or quick learner of new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Care Coordinator with clinical documentation, care planning and leading the care team.
  • Support new admissions and care planning processes with families and health professionals.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, families and colleagues; participate in quality improvement.

  • Competitive hourly rate of $41.59- $59.31 depending on experience plus superannuation

About The Role

Are you a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months' experience and current AHPRA registration, looking for a rewarding casual opportunity where you can make a real difference in the lives of older people?

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Care Coordinator with clinical documentation, care planning, and leadership of the care team
  • Leading and supporting new consumer admissions and care planning processes
  • Communicating effectively with families, allied health professionals, and other care partners
  • Fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment for residents and staff
  • Actively participating in quality improvement and risk management activities
What You Will Need
  • AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse
  • Familiarity with SARAH is preferred; however, a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly is also acceptable
  • Able to keep things running smoothly, even during busy times.
  • Organised, motivated, and reliable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

The successful candidate requiring current National Police Clearance. In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
