Job summary

ALL WAYS OF CARING HOME CARE is seeking Registered Nurses to provide professional nursing care to clients in home and community settings. This role supports client health, safety, and care outcomes in collaboration with the Care Designer and care team.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, and caregiver support, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and effective communication within the care network.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body.
• Current CPR certification.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to client visits with valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• TLR certificate.
• Experience with pediatric clients is an asset.
• Flexible availability across day, evening, or night shifts.

• Administer medications and treatments, monitor outcomes, and document.
• Identify changes in client condition and coordinate follow-up.
• Provide health teaching and guidance to clients and families.
• Support caregivers with clinical guidance and communication to ensure safe, consistent care.
• Maintain complete, timely documentation and communicate with internal teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services in home and community settings within the scope of practice and applicable standards.
• Conduct assessments, contribute to care plan development/updates, and support clinical decision-making in collaboration with the Care Designer and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized; monitor outcomes and document accurately.
• Identify and respond to changes in client condition; elevator concerns appropriately and coordinate follow-up as required.
• Provide health teaching, guidance, and support to clients and families to promote safety, independence, and well-being.
• Support caregivers through clinical guidance and communication to ensure care is delivered consistently and safely.
• Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation; communicate effectively with internal teams

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current RN registration in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body, with no restrictions that would prevent performance of the role.
• Current CPR certification (First Aid as required by location/role).
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed within the timeframe required by All Ways of Caring policy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work reliably and independently.
• Ability to travel to client visits (valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle where required).
• Valid TLR Certificate
• Experience working with pediatric clients is an asset.
• As we provide 24 care, flexible availability is an asset (day, evening, night)
