Job summary

All Ways of Caring seeks Registered Nurses to deliver professional nursing care in home and community settings. You will work with the Care Designer and care team to support client health, safety, and outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessments, care plan updates, medication administration, and caregiver support. A valid RN license, CPR, and clean background check are required; travel to client visits is expected.

Qualifications

• RN registration in good standing with the provincial regulatory body.
• Current CPR certification (First Aid as required by location/role).
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Strong verbal and written communication; reliable and independent.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for client visits.
• TLR Certificate.
• Experience with pediatric clients is an asset.
• Flexible availability (day, evening, night).

• Provide professional nursing services in home and community settings within the scope of practice and applicable standards.
• Conduct assessments, contribute to care plan development/updates, and support clinical decision-making in collaboration with the Care Designer and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as authorized; monitor outcomes and document accurately.
• Identify and respond to changes in client condition; elevate concerns appropriately and coordinate follow-up as required.
• Provide health teaching, guidance, and support to clients and families to promote safety, independence, and well-being.
• Support caregivers through clinical guidance and communication to ensure care is delivered consistently and safely.
• Maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation; communicate effectively with internal teams

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current RN registration in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body, with no restrictions that would prevent performance of the role.
• Current CPR certification (First Aid as required by location/role).
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search completed within the timeframe required by All Ways of Caring policy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work reliably and independently.
• Ability to travel to client visits (valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle where required).
• Valid TLR Certificate
• Experience working with pediatric clients is an asset.
