Overview
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing excellent care for our residents in accordance with physicians' orders, established standards, and principles, including the Nursing Home Act. Responsibilities include assessing residents' conditions, developing and maintaining individual care plans, maintaining accurate clinical records, and administering and safeguarding all medications and narcotics. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and promote effective communication with residents, families, visitors, volunteers, students, and staff.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Rotation : RN 3; subject to change based on operational requirements.
Infection prevention and control requirements, as outlined by O. Reg. 246 / 22 : General under the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, S.O. 2021, c 39, Sched. 1 : prospective candidates must demonstrate screening for tuberculosis and other infectious diseases in accordance with protocols issued by the Director. This includes DTAP, MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B.
