Crowsnest Pass Continuing Care is a 50-bed unit located in a rural setting where Registered Nurses (RNs) work within an interdisciplinary team environment to provide client-centered care. The RN/RPN will provide leadership including direction, supervision, mentoring, constructive feedback, and client care coordination to professionals and unregulated staff. This role requires critical thinking to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate client-centered care.

Location:

Town of Blairmore, serving surrounding communities. Located southwest of Lethbridge and Calgary, offering mountain living, modern amenities, sports, golf, and skiing activities.

Responsibilities:

Providing nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring safety and well-being. Utilizing nursing processes, teaching, counseling, advocating, and supporting holistic patient care aligned with AHS values.

Compensation:

Provisional Permit Holders: $39.58 - $54.16/hour. Registered Nurses: adjusted upon registration, as per AHS/UNA agreement.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active or eligible registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current BCLS-HCP certification.
• Practiced as a nurse within the last five years or completed required courses if not.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Non Violent Crisis Intervention, Supportive Pathways, Wound Care courses, Case Management experience, Rai 2.0 Certification, Gerontology experience.
