Job summary

The Spa at The Clayfield, part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. The role reports to the Spa Director and focuses on delivering exceptional massage experiences in a luxury, collaborative setting.

Openings include both part-time and full-time, with pre-opening training, strong guest service expectations, and a focus on professionalism and confidentiality within a high-end spa environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Massage Therapist with Ontario registration and liability insurance.
• Experience in luxury spa, hotel spa, wellness, or clinical settings preferred.
• Excellent guest service, confidentiality, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver massage therapy treatments with guest comfort and safety as priorities.
• Conduct consultations and tailor treatments to health history.
• Suggest homecare and retail products as needed.
• Maintain client records and treatment documentation.
• Prepare rooms and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained.
• Assist with spa presentation and light housekeeping when needed.
• Build guest loyalty through personalized service.
• Collaborate with spa team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Participate in pre-opening training and ongoing product education.
• Follow Health Canada, CMTO, and hotel safety regulations.
• Support additional operational duties as required.

The Clayfield is a new 102-room luxury boutique hotel opening in Niagara-on-the-Lake and part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Operated by Urgo Hotels & Resorts Canada, the hotel will deliver a refined, highly personalized guest experience grounded in calm luxury, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of place.

The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) plays an essential role in creating restorative, personalized wellness experiences for every guest. Reporting to the Spa Director, this position provides exceptional therapeutic massage treatments while helping maintain the highest standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and guest care.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about wellness, values meaningful guest connections, and enjoys working within a collaborative luxury hospitality environment.

What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional massage therapy treatments while ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
• Conduct professional consultations and customize treatments based on guest needs and health history.
• Recommends appropriate homecare and retail products to support treatment results.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records and documentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each service while maintaining exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ensure linens, supplies, and equipment are fully stocked and maintained.
• Support overall spa presentation by assisting with light housekeeping throughout the spa.
• Build guest loyalty through genuine hospitality and personalized service.
• Work collaboratively with aestheticians, spa attendants, reception, and leadership to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Participate in pre-opening training, product education, and ongoing professional development.
• Follow all Health Canada, CMTO, hotel, and workplace health and safety regulations.
• Support additional operational duties as required.

What You'll Bring

• Current Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
