Job summary

Medcan Clinic is recruiting a skilled massage therapist to join our high-performing team within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This Independent Contractor role focuses on Friday and Saturday shifts at the Kingsway Clinic, with mutually determined hours and some flexibility.

You will provide clinical massage therapy, maintain detailed records, and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care and collaboration with physicians

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTO.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Must possess professional liability insurance.
• Competency in multiple techniques: Swedish massage, facial therapy and trigger point therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical massage therapy services.

• Practice effective inter-professional communication.
• Ensure high quality patient management and care.

The Opportunity:

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a skilled massage therapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position for shifts at our Kingsway Clinic ( East Tower, 3250 Bloor St W 10th Floor) on Friday and Saturday. The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility.

What You’ll Do:

• The provision of clinical massage therapy services
• Maintain complete and detailed clinical documentation and records
• Practice effective and timely inter-professional communication
• Ensure the highest quality of patient management and care
• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, chiropodists and other massage therapists

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist
• Must be in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
• Must have appropriate professional liability insurance
• Must possess competency in multiple massage techniques; including but not limited to, Swedish massage, facial therapy, and trigger point therapy.

Position Pay Range $45 - $65/hr Medcan's Allied Health professionals are independent contractors. Remuneration for this role will be dependent on number of days worked, patient volume and level of candidate's experience and qualification. The above range pertains solely to base earnings based on fee split rates and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
