Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a talented Registered Massage Therapist to join our spa team. You will deliver high-quality massage and body treatments in a fresh, upscale setting within Banff National Park, providing guests with exceptional service and a premium spa experience.

The position is permanent, starts in November 2026, and offers $17.22 per hour plus 18% gratuities and commission; compensation can reflect $65+ per hour during massage sessions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a massage therapist is required.
• Registered Massage Therapist in Alberta and in good standing with a recognized association.

Responsibilities

• Perform massage, body and add-on treatments per menu protocols.
• Identify guest needs and recommend treatment and home care.
• Maintain professional, warm, and courteous demeanor with guests and coworkers.
• Uphold sanitation, neatness, and presentation standards.
• Assist with linen stocking, laundry and spa cleaning.
• Manage treatment room inventory and other organizational tasks.

Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: November 2026
Rate of Pay: $17.22/hour plus 18% gratuities and commission.Compensation can reflect $65+ per hour while massage services are being performed.
Job Duties Include:

• Ability to perform all massage, body and applicable add on treatments offered on the menu according to protocols
• Discovers guests’ needs and makes appropriate treatment and home care recommendations
• Presents warm, gracious and professional persona toward guests and co-workers
• Adheres to a high professional image standard such as dress, appearance, language, and lifestyle
• Practices the highest standard of sanitation, neatness, and visual presentation
• Assists with linen stocking, laundry and spa cleaning
• Maintains treatment room inventory and other organizational tasks

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a massage therapist required
• Graduated from a recognized Massage Therapy College in a minimum 2200 hour program
• Must be registered in good standing with a recognized massage therapy association in Alberta
• All professional licenses are to be current
• CPR and First Aid certification is required
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including but not limited to:
  Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
  Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
  Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
