Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is seeking a Bellperson to warmly greet guests, assist with luggage and room orientation, and deliver items with professionalism.

You will serve as a lobby ambassador, help with valet parking, address guest concerns, and provide a welcoming experience while representing the Fairmont brand within the resort community. A flexible schedule including holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Alberta Class 4 driver's license required and current driver's abstract free of any serious demerit points.
• CPR and First Aid certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property.
• Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way.
• Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests.
• Act as a valet parking attendant and park and retrieve guest vehicles.
• Receive and deliver items for guests.
• Addresses guest concerns and brings them to the attention of the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain knowledge of the hotel’s emergency procedures.

Job Description

A smile and a helping hand are what our Guests will experience as you personally greet them upon arrival. As a Bellperson with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, your knowledge of the hotel and the professionalism you display will create a sense of “welcome” like no other.

Rate of Pay: $24.88/hour
Position Type: Permanent

Job Duties Include:

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property

• Must be physically capable of meeting the very physical demands of the position
