General Description of Duties:

1. Complete services as booked by client to the standards and specifications of Bliss MediSpa
2. Conduct client assessments to determine the most appropriate courses of treatment
3. Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
4. Suggest appropriate home care and provide information about techniques for postural improvement and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises
5. Obtain, maintain and securely store treatment records
6. Confirm that appropriate waivers have been completed by client
7. Refer to medical condition information provided by client and adjust treatment accordingly with client consultation
8. Act as a first aid responder (if trained accordingly and currently certified)
9. Comply to uniform and hygiene Standards of Bliss MediSpa
10. Maintain facility cleanliness to standards of Bliss MediSpa
11. Maintain continuity of services and performance
12. Contribute to the positive morale and atmosphere of Bliss MediSpa
13. Contribute to a safe work environment
14. Increase the well-being of our guest by promoting internal and external healthy lifestyle alternatives
15. Promote the services available in our facility schedule by encouraging class participants to try yoga classes or spa services suited to their needs
16. Flip rooms after each service and follow cleaning and sanitization protocols for all services you will be providing
17. Complete duties as assigned by Supervisors, Directors, Managers and Owners

Position Requirements:

• Must provide proof of completion of an accredited massage therapy training program
• Must provide criminal record check completed within the last 3 months (recruitment process may commence while record check is being processed)
• Proof of valid minimum emergency first-aid training
• Successful completion of Bliss MediSpa training program

NOTE: Compensation offer will be based in part on proof of completed practical hours in the field of massage therapy
