Balanced Health + Wellness is looking to hire a 2200+ hour Registered Massage Therapist. Our thriving and growing business is looking for an outstanding candidate.

Our Ideal applicants will have:

1. 2200hrs + certificate
2. Current registration with an accepted Alberta Association and be a member in good standing with current liability insurance
3. Must be available for days, evenings, and weekend appointments
4. An established clientele is an asset; however, NEW GRADS are welcome to apply…we have clients needing to be kneaded!
5. Variety of modalities and courses is an asset, but not a requirement. We love to mentor new therapists in the path that helps them build their business best!

About Us:

Recently voted the Best Massage Clinic of Lacombe in 2024, Balanced Health + Wellness has been established and growing for 13 years in Lacombe as a reputable therapeutic massage therapy clinic. Services already offered include therapeutic and relaxation massage, RAPID NeuroFascial reset, myofascial fire, suction & silicone cupping, pre and post-natal treatment, reflexology, and jade stone massage. All Therapists are required to have 2200+ hour certification.

Responsibilities:

The Practitioner is responsible for client care in a traditional massage setting. Greeting clients, assessment of chief complaints, and execution of required therapeutic treatment are the main requirements, as well as keeping up on charting in our online charting system (Noterro). Practitioners are responsible for their own post-treatment room clean up with the assistance, as available, by reception staff. The dress code is semi-casual. It is preferred the Practitioner wears a scrub top with athletic-style pants or leggings. Jeans are acceptable as long as they don’t have holes in them. Runners are preferred footwear. There are practical exceptions to the dress code as discussed with the owner.

Qualifications:

2200+ Massage Therapy Diploma and Current registration with an approved Alberta Massage Association. Practitioner must be available for a variety of set shifts, daytime, evenings, and some Saturdays.
