Job description

Registered Massage Therapist Job in Calgary, Alberta

Ace Physique is hiring for a Registered Massage Therapist job in Calgary, Alberta, for a skilled and compassionate therapist ready to join a wellness team built around the idea of helping lives get better. This role sits at the center of client care, using therapeutic touch and personalized treatment to support each client's overall well-being, in a clinic where massage therapy works alongside physiotherapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic care under one roof.

A Multidisciplinary, Client-Focused Clinic

Ace Physique describes itself as more than just a clinic, and the team takes a multidisciplinary, client-focused, evidence-based approach to care, serving clients across a wide range of needs and conditions. Growth mindset is treated as a core value here, with continuing education support and a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment that's designed to help clinicians keep building their skills over time. The clinic has been expanding across the region, which means you'd be joining a team with real momentum behind it, not a static practice standing still, and one that's focused on making each client's journey toward better health a genuinely positive experience.

Your Day as a Massage Therapist Here

Day to day, you'll perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, assessing each client's physical condition and preferences to build a customized treatment plan. You'll maintain accurate client records, including medical history and treatment progress, and communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options and aftercare recommendations. Upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment room and common areas is part of the job, as is staying current on trends and advancements in massage therapy practice.

Above all, you'll be creating a welcoming, relaxing environment that keeps clients coming back, which means your customer service instincts matter as much as your technique. Working alongside physiotherapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists in the same clinic also means built-in opportunities to coordinate care for clients who are seeing more than one practitioner, rather than working in isolation from the rest of the team.

This role calls for proven massage therapy experience, valid certification or registration to practice, and strong communication skills that help you build rapport quickly. A working knowledge of medical terminology is preferred so you can talk through conditions clearly with clients, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed is part of keeping the schedule client-friendly. If you're looking for a role where your clinical skill and your people skills matter equally, this is built for that balance.

Compensation:
  • Market rate, based on experience and additional certifications (paid monthly)
Qualifications:
  • Professional certificate in massage therapy
Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
  • Assess clients' physical conditions and discuss their preferences to create customized treatment plans

  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the massage therapy room and common areas
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a massage therapist, with valid certification or registration to practice
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred to effectively communicate with clients about their conditions
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs
  • Exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
Benefits:
  • Flexible schedule

If you're looking for a massage therapy role inside a clinic that treats the whole person, we'd love to hear from you. Ace Physique was built to make lives better, and that shows up in how the team supports one another across physiotherapy, massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. Bring your certification, your hands-on skill, and a genuine care for your clients, and we'll bring a schedule and team that supports you in return.
