Job summary

Ranchview Physiotherapy Chiro & Massage is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-informed massage therapy within scope of practice.

We value collaboration with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other professionals to support rehabilitation, pain management, and wellness goals. Calgary, AB based, with a focus on client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Massage Therapy program, preferably 2,200 hours or equivalent.
• Registered and in good standing with an appropriate Massage Therapy association acceptable to major extended health benefit providers in Alberta.
• Current professional liability insurance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, therapeutic massage techniques, indications, precautions, and contraindications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, documentation, and client-care skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Experience working with musculoskeletal injuries, motor vehicle accident clients, chronic pain, sports injuries, or rehabilitation clients is an asset.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with applicable professional, clinic, privacy, and insurance requirements.
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team when appropriate and with client consent.
• Refer clients to other healthcare professionals when findings or client needs fall outside the Massage Therapist’s scope of practice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional, and organized treatment environment.
